
Cascadia Films is an independent production company founded by brothers Dawson Doupé and Ryder Doupé, alongside Tadeaš Tapper. Rooted in the Pacific Northwest, Cascadia Films is dedicated to telling character driven genre stories from bold, distinctive voices.​ The company develops and produces work across feature films, short films, television, music videos, and commercials, with a focus on emotionally grounded storytelling that blends strong characters with elevated genre elements. ​Driven by collaboration and a filmmaker-first mindset, Cascadia Films aims to support emerging and established creatives alike, crafting projects that are both artistically ambitious and deeply relatable, creating films that fully deliver on their genre whether that means thrilling audiences, scaring them, or impacting them on an emotional level.

Dawson Doupé, Ryder Doupé, and Tadeaš Tapper are a filmmaking team based in Seattle, Washington. The children of two actors, brothers Dawson and Ryder met Tadeaš (Todd) Tapper, a Czech immigrant, when they were teenagers and the trio’s diverse perspectives and backgrounds have helped their creative partnership flourish for over ten years. Through their production company Cascadia Films, they have produced, written, and directed multiple award winning short films, several music videos, and two feature films. Additionally, the trio were finalists at 2022 ScreenCraft TV Pilot Script Competition, which led to their pilot getting an option agreement.​​
